Six come in a pack, with 12 and 24 piece options for classrooms and parties. Teens and adults who like a quiet, no-batteries fidget get a small brain teaser that fits in a backpack.

What's in the box

6 wooden twist block puzzles (12 or 24 in the larger packs)

Painted cubes joined by elastic cord

How you use it

Twist the chain until it forms a cube, then unfold it into a flat rectangle, a staircase or a zigzag snake. The elastic lets each block rotate against its neighbor, so the same chain makes many shapes. Try to get it back to a solid cube without looking, then race a friend. Spatial reasoning and patience both get a workout. Bright paint on each block makes the shapes easy to read, and the smooth wood gives steady tactile input.

In a classroom, a bowl of these keeps hands occupied during reading time without any noise. On a road trip or in a waiting room, one chain keeps hands busy. They also work as birthday party favors and holiday gifts.

Specifications

Brand: Sumind

Pack options: 6, 12 or 24 puzzles

Material: wood blocks, painted, with elastic cord

Shapes: cube, chain, stairs, rectangle and freeform

Recommended age: 12 and up

Keep the wooden twist block puzzle dry so the paint stays bright, and replace a chain if the elastic loses its snap after heavy use.
