Each one measures about 1.2 by 1 inch. Sew, glue or pin them wherever you want a little buzz, from a baby shower banner to a spring wreath.

Design and uses

The bees follow the classic look, with yellow and black stripes that read as a bee from across the room. Wool felt keeps them light and soft in the hand. That small size works on greeting cards, gift tags, hair clips and headbands. For a bee themed birthday or a What Will It Bee baby shower, scatter a handful across the dessert table or glue them to cupcake picks.

Crafters can stitch the bees onto a felt flower garland or a quiet book page for a toddler. Teachers can add them to a classroom bulletin board about pollinators. Glue a few to a grapevine wreath with faux flowers for a front door in spring. With 25 in the pack, you have enough for several projects or one big display. Kids can help too, gluing bees onto paper hives they cut and color themselves during a spring craft hour.

Specifications

Pack count: 25 felt bees

Size: about 1.2 x 1 in (3 x 2.6 cm)

Material: wool felt

Colors: yellow and black

Attach with: needle and thread, or glue

How to attach and care for felt bees

For fabric, a few hand stitches through the body hold a bee in place. On paper, wood or foam, a dot of hot glue or craft glue works best. Use straight pins for anything temporary, like a party banner you plan to reuse. Brush off dust with a dry, soft brush. Keep loose bees away from babies and pets, since the small size makes them easy to swallow.
