Playmaker Toys scales this Sikorsky UH-60 to 10 inches, finishes it in olive drab with U.S. Army markings, and fits it with rotor blades that spin. Collectors and kids both get something out of it.

Detail and finish

The metal body carries the weight that plastic models lack, and the olive drab paint matches the military look of the real utility helicopter. Authentic U.S. Army markings complete the look. You can spin the main rotor by hand, and the cockpit has realistic features. The landing gear is operational.

Each unit comes picked at random, and the color may vary from the photo. Families use it as a desk piece for a service member's kid, a prop for a history lesson on utility helicopters, or a play toy that survives being flown around the living room. Set it next to other die cast aircraft and the 10 inch size holds its own on the shelf. A parent who served can point out the parts they knew.

Specifications

Length: 10 inches

Construction: die cast metal

Model: Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk, U.S. Army markings

Finish: olive drab

Moving parts: rotating blades, working landing gear

Sold as 1 at random, color may vary

Care for a die cast model

Dust the Black Hawk helicopter toy with a dry soft brush and keep it out of water, since the metal body and painted finish are not made for the tub.
