What Causes Elbow Calluses?
The initial callus is created by your dog's body to protect the elbow/ulna bone from trauma. Every time your dog walks past their $$$ orthopedic bed and slams down, elbows first on the concrete, tile or hard dirt, the elbow callus thickens as the over-protective ulna bone does it's ONE job...to protect the elbow.

Keeping Expectations Real- Many customers have shared their dog's calluses went away AND the hair grew back. While we are thrilled when that happens, we cannot guarantee the same for every dog. Other factors such as, does you dog still hit the concrete elbow first? Do they lick or chew at their elbow? Are they at a good weight? You get the idea. Big Frenchies apparel is shipped in plastic-free packaging directly from our Virginia facility. Items from our partner brands may have different packaging and can be shipped from any of their fulfillment locations worldwide.
