The Castle Creations Mamba Micro X2 combo pairs the compact Mamba Micro X2 waterproof electronic speed controller with a 1010‑size 5600kV sensored brushless motor. Designed for 1/14 and 1/16 scale vehicles, this system delivers smooth low‑speed control, strong torque, and efficient thermal performance in a lightweight package.
This combo is well‑suited for applications requiring precision throttle response, including racing, technical driving, and small‑scale crawler builds.
Performance and Design
The Mamba Micro X2 ESC is a next‑generation update to Castle’s Micro X platform, adding data logging and CRYO‑DRIVE™ Technology while increasing voltage capability. CRYO‑DRIVE allows the ESC to operate cooler and more efficiently at partial throttle.
The included 1010‑5600kV sensored motor provides smooth startup, strong torque output, and reduced operating temperatures. Sensored operation ensures precise commutation at low speeds, improving control and drivability.
