Keep mosquitos and evil spirits away with our Haint Blue Citronella soy candle! Perfect for your summer outdoor gatherings, citronella is a natural bug and mosquito repellant. Infused with notes of persimmon and citron, it smells great while also keeping those pesky mosquitos away.
Haint is a Gullah term for evil spirits or ghosts, and it was believed that the Haint blue color warded off these not-so-welcome visitors. The belief is that the color would mimic the blue sky and haints would pass by the home. Painting porch ceilings Haint blue has become a long-honored tradition in Charleston and the lowcountry. Our Haint Blue Citronella candle comes in 12 oz. matte glass or a 9 oz. candle tin. Unlike many cintronella candles, our Haint Blue Cintronella candle is environmentally friendly, made from sustainable soy wax.
