Scout is built on the same calming, refillable lavender-pouch design as every Xander Friend: gentle weighted pressure for sensory grounding, lavender aromatherapy from our own Michigan fields, and a soft, huggable form built for anxiety, sensory overload, and the heavy days — big and small.
Scout's removable heat pack warms in the microwave in 30 seconds for over 20 minutes of soft, soothing warmth — for bedtime, for after fireworks, for whenever calm is needed.
And like every Xander Friend, Scout has a glow-in-the-dark heart paw that recharges in sunlight — so when bedtime gets dark, he still glows.
He stands 15 inches tall and weighs approximately 1 lb — substantial enough to feel grounding in your lap, light enough to travel anywhere a child or grown-up needs him.

Every Scout begins with a soft plush shell crafted by our trusted partner factory and friends overseas — the same hands that have helped us bring every Xander Friend to life. From there, every Scout comes home to our Michigan farm. We fill him with farm-grown lavender from our own fields, hand-finish the final stitch, and pair him with a hand-numbered, hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity.

What number will I receive?
Every Scout carries a unique edition number from #0001 to #7500. Numbers are assigned in the order orders were placed — the earlier you ordered, the lower your number.
Why was Scout a pre-order?
Scout is made in a single, carefully planned production run. Pre-ordering is how we make sure every Scout has a home before he ships — no overproduction, no leftover inventory, no waste. It's also the only way we can keep him at $49.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes — if you change your mind, you can cancel within 7 days of placing your order for a full refund. After 7 days, your Scout is locked in and we're unable to cancel.
Will I be charged today or when Scout ships?
You'll be charged at checkout when you place your order. No surprise charges later, no payment plans, no holds.
What's inside Scout?
Scout comes with a refillable lavender pouch filled with farm-grown lavender from our fields at Lavender Life Company. The pouch is removable and refillable — when the scent fades (usually 6–9 months), you can swap in a fresh sachet to bring him back to life.
Is Scout safe for kids?
Scout is recommended for ages 3 and up. He's surface-spot washable, and the lavender pouch is removable before cleaning. The weighted insert is sealed inside a soft inner pocket and is not accessible to little hands.
How big is Scout?
Scout stands 15 inches tall and weighs approximately 1 lb — substantial enough to feel grounding in your lap or arms, but soft and light enough for everyday cuddles.
Will there be more Scouts after the 7,500 sell out?
No. Once all 7,500 Scouts find their homes, Scout retires permanently — just like our Star Spangled Xander Bunny. No re-runs, no second editions, no "Scout 2.0." The certificate number you receive is the only one of its kind that will ever exist.
What if my Scout arrives damaged?
We're so sorry if that happens. Email us at hello@lavender-life.com within 14 days of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right — replacement Scout sent at no charge, no questions asked.
