How kids use it
Your child picks a pattern card, then hooks rubber bands around the nails until the board matches the picture. Simple squares and triangles suit beginners, while polygons and letters give older kids a challenge. When they run out of cards, they can draw a new design on a blank card with the pen and build that instead.
Moving the bands from nail to nail works fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Naming each shape and letter adds a little math and literacy practice. Parents can sit down and build alongside, which makes it a good shared activity after school.
