How you decorate with them
Set out your chocolates or cupcakes, place a glue point on the back of a pair of wings and press it onto the treat. Line the decorated sweets up on a tray and the gold catches every bit of light in the room. A batch of winged truffles looks ready to flutter off the plate.
Use the wings on cake pops, round chocolates, macarons or the top of a frosted cupcake. Hosts of a wizard movie marathon or an elf party can decorate the whole dessert table. The paper is sturdy and keeps its shape on the tray.
These decorations are not edible. Remind guests to remove the wings before eating, and never heat them with food in a microwave or oven.
Test the placement on one or two treats first to find the angle you like; wings set at a slight tilt look ready for flight. Fifty pieces cover a full dessert tray for a large party, and you can keep a few spares in case one bends. Gold also pairs well with white, dark or milk chocolate, so you can mix flavors on the same platter.
