Why playground balls fit so many games
A 9 inch ball suits small hands for throwing and catching and stays big enough to kick. The PVC skin feels soft and grips well, so a toddler can hold it and an older child can bounce it off a wall. How to inflate and care for the balls
Wet the pump needle, slide it into the valve and pump until the ball feels firm but still gives a little when you press it. Overfilling stretches the skin. Let a little air out before you store the balls in a hot garage or car. Keep them away from sharp objects and open flames, which can puncture or melt the PVC. Wipe off dirt with a damp cloth after outdoor play. Store the pump with the balls so it does not go missing.
