Braided dacron kite string from 9KM DWLIFE gives single-line kite flyers a polyester line that holds its length under pull. You choose a strength from 50 to 500 pounds and a length of 500 or 1000 feet, so a child's diamond kite and a large parafoil can each get a line that matches the wind load.

Why braided polyester
Polyester resists friction and abrasion, so the line survives rubbing against another flyer's string or dragging across sand. Braiding adds strength and lowers the odds of a snap when two lines tangle. Low stretch means the kite answers when you pull, which helps when you steer a kite out of a dive.
The smooth surface slides through your hands without catching, and it resists knotting on the reel. A knot tied in dacron kite string stays where you put it, so you can set the tow point on a bridle once and leave it. Red and green show up against sky and sand, which helps when you need to find a dropped line. Wind the line back onto your reel with a little tension so it does not loosen in the bag.
