How kids play with the fire trucks
Each truck has a pull back motor. Your child sets it on the floor, rolls it backward a few inches to wind the coil spring inside, and lets go. The truck races forward on its own.
On the ladder truck, the ladder extends up to 1 foot, which turns a couch arm into a burning building and a stuffed bear into someone who needs rescue. Meanwhile the fire engine heads to the scene beside it. With two trucks in the set, siblings or friends can each drive one, or a single child can run a full fire station on the rug.
Diecast metal gives both trucks real weight in the hand and helps them survive drops off the coffee table. The detailing looks like the real rigs a child sees on the street, which makes these a good match for a fire station field trip or a firefighter-themed birthday. They also work as a party prize, a stocking stuffer or a reward for good behavior.
