This artist collaboration with the center piece designed by well known artist, Ashley Taylor, is certainly one of the happiest candles we offer. When speaking with Ashley, owner Bianca described her vision as "..That way there could be this little piece of hope that can be shared in homes all over the world. Something that customers can look at and smile, and be reminded of positivity. "
Upon completion, Ashley described her work as "my concept is called "Be the Light." In situations where people are surrounded by darkness, it's important to keep the faith, look for the light and try to become a little stronger each day. So I wanted to create a dove flying through the darkness to symbolize that journey and that optimism."
Together, we hope that this candle brings you many moments of relief, happiness, and comfort along with the encouragement that you and those you love can do this crazy thing called life and we are here with you.
The outer line work, as with all of our other amazing candles, is designed by none other than Lane Martin! He worked with us on this design to create a colored version of his border work to best flatter Ashley Taylor's piece and bring the label to completion!
