How kids wear Halloween slap bracelets
Hold one end of the band straight, then tap the flat side against a wrist. The metal core inside snaps closed and wraps around it, whatever the wrist size. Pull the end to straighten it again. Kids repeat that motion over and over, and the bands hold up to it because the plastic coating seals the edges.
