Details
The CHEFAN farm felt board set lets toddlers and preschoolers build a farm scene and tell stories about it. A 46.5 x 27 inch background board holds 99 felt pieces, so kids can place animals, buildings, letters and numbers wherever their story goes.
What's in the box
- 1 felt background board, 46.5 x 27 inches
- 99 felt pieces
- Farm pieces: farmers, barns, tractors, pigs, cows, sheep, ponds, apple trees
- Learning pieces: colors, alphabet, clocks, numbers, vegetable planting
Telling stories on the board
Your child sticks the farmer by the barn, parks the tractor in the field and lines the cows up by the pond. Each new arrangement becomes a new story.
You can join in by asking questions about the scene, which turns play into language practice. Counting pieces, naming colors and matching letters fold early literacy and math into the game. The adhesive-backed felt pieces grip the board, and the thick felt resists wear from daily play. The board also works as decor in a classroom or bedroom.
