How you use the cups
Hand one cup to each player and drop five dice inside. You cover the opening with your palm, give it a shake, then flip it onto the table. The velvet soaks up most of the rattle, which helps when someone is sleeping upstairs or you play in a small apartment.
With five cups on hand, nobody waits for a shared cup to come around the circle. That keeps turns moving in fast games like Liar's Dice, where every player rolls at the same time and hides the result under the cup. Bunco tables run smoother too, since each seat already has its own gear.
The cups work for a long list of classics. Try them with Farkel, Backgammon or Craps, or bring them to a Catan or Dungeons and Dragons session to roll stats without dice skittering off the board. The velvet lining keeps those sessions quieter too.
Store the dice inside the cups between games. A quick brush clears lint from the velvet when you need it.
