Details
The Dinhon wooden rainbow stacking toy gives young builders 40 wooden pieces to stack, nest and balance in any order. Kids can make an arch one day and a tower the next. When playtime ends, you can set the rainbow on a shelf as a bright piece of room decor.
What's in the box
- 12 rainbow arch blocks
- 11 semi-circular blocks
- 11 rectangular blocks
- 6 wooden dolls
How kids play with the rainbow set
Start by nesting the 12 arches into one big rainbow, then pull them apart and line them up from smallest to largest. Older kids can turn the half circles and rectangles into bridges, houses or a balancing game where each player adds a piece until the stack tips. The six dolls can move into whatever your child builds.
Your child can play alone or with a parent, a sibling or a small group. Sorting pieces by color gives you an easy way to practice color names together, and stacking takes patience and planning. Because the set is mid-size, you can pack it in a tote for trips, a visit to grandma or homeschool lessons at the kitchen table.
Wooden stacking toys also make a thoughtful birthday or holiday gift, since kids can find a new way to build each time they open the box.
