How kids use them
Each pencil is about 3.5 inches long, half the length of an adult pencil. That shorter size gives small hands better control than a 5 to 7 inch pencil, so young artists can color inside the lines.
A softer lead gives strong color with light pressure. Kids can layer, blend, shade and sketch with it, and the wood body resists breaking. Schools can pass the boxes out as class gifts, and you can drop them into party bags or holiday stockings. The set suits every age except children under 3. Other counts, from 10 up to 300, appear in the options.
