The fisca remote control tank puts a 1/18 scale M1A2 Abrams in your hands with 15 channels of movement, a turret that swings 330 degrees and simulated smoke with recoil on each shot. It suits kids who have outgrown basic RC cars and adults who enjoy military models. The 2.4GHz radio reaches about 150 feet.

Driving it
The remote handles the hull: forward, reverse, spins to either side and a full rotation in place. It also turns the turret and raises or lowers the muzzle. Because the radio runs on 2.4GHz, several tanks can battle in one yard without crossing signals, so a sibling or a friend can bring their own. Each driver gets the full set of 15 channels, including forward and backward spins and center rotation to the right or left.
Two durable rubber tracks take on outdoor ground, and the motor pulls the tank up a 30 degree slope. Three speed settings let a beginner start slow and work up. Fire the main gun and the recoil action kicks in alongside a puff of simulated smoke. The muzzle tilts 30 degrees to aim over an obstacle.
Who it suits
Older children get a vehicle with real maneuvering to master, and a pair of tanks turns the backyard into a battlefield for an afternoon.
