The Creative Escape Rooms Hide and Seek cipher wheel is a two-piece decoder for secret messages, escape room puzzles and spy birthday parties. A small disk sits on top of a larger one, and you turn them to line up letters and numbers. This pack holds two decoders, each made in the USA.
Design and how it works
The large wheel measures 4.4 inches across and the small wheel 3.411 inches, with a height of about .75 inch. Letters and numbers are laser engraved into the surface, so they will not fade over time.
To encode a message, pick a starting letter on the inner wheel and line it up with a letter on the outer wheel. Read across from each letter of your message to find its code. Players with a matching wheel and the same key reverse the steps to decode it. The compact size lets you tuck the disk into a puzzle box, a drawer or a hidden compartment as part of the challenge.
