The HPI Savage XL FLUX GTXL-6 1/8 4WD Brushless Monster Truck. while based on the extremely popular original 2002 Savage 21 monster truck platform, this longer and wider Brushless Savage XL FLUX version has bead updated and loaded with upgrades to give the savage a huge boost in power, performance, and durability. Now with the FLUX brushless system and the instant standing backflip power behind it, the Savage XL is a mean machine that is meant to shred and destroy whatever the terrain throws at it!
Underneath the body, the chassis is based on the Savage design using the TVP (Twin Vertical Plate) with a lower CG (center of gravity) design that gives the drivers a tough, reliable, stable truck, with a fun driving feel and great handling. To keep the fun going for hours and hours, the gearbox and gears are made from a heavy duty material and feature a design to help eliminate damage during hardcore bash sessions. Strong suspension and steering components add extra crash protection during all kinds of driving. This means you can blast through any type of terrain you want, whether it's grass, mud, asphalt, or gravel!
