Dapaqami jungle animal lacing cards give preschoolers a quiet sewing activity with 12 cute animals to stitch. Each thick cardstock card comes with its own colorful lace. Kids thread the lace through large holes around the animal, practicing hand-eye coordination and color recognition as they go.

How kids use the lacing cards
Hand your child a card and a lace, tie a knot at one end and show them how to push the tip through the first hole. They work around the edge of the animal, in and out, until the outline is complete. The holes are large enough for kids to learn to lace on their own.
Each card measures about 7 by 5 inches, a comfortable size for small hands. The 4 foot laces leave extra length, so kids can try different lacing paths or hang a finished card on the wall. The cards are printed on both sides, so they look good from either side.
The cards are thick cardstock with smooth edges, and they resist bending and breaking. Kids can unlace them and start again many times. Teachers can use them at a quiet table during preschool learning time, and parents can set them out for a family craft session.
A jungle animal party is another good fit. Set out the cards as a craft station, then hang the finished animals as party decor.
