The Joonly kids balance board is a rocking seesaw that children stand on, shift their weight and tilt side to side. Five wooden balls come with the board for extra play. It works indoors on a rug or outside on the patio.

What rocking teaches
Standing on a tilting board asks a child to keep their center over their feet. Small corrections from the ankles and hips build balance, concentration and limb coordination. The board works as sensory training equipment, and it is a good way to burn off energy at home on rainy days. The left and right foot pads and the bottom pivot form a triangle, which keeps the board from flipping.
Use and care
Place the board on a flat surface with clear space on both sides. Have your child step onto the footprints, hold your hands for the first few rocks and then let go. Adults up to the 220 lb limit can take a turn too, which makes it a shared game. Keep the balls in a bag when not in use.
Pick a color that matches the playroom and leave the board out where your child can hop on between activities. Start with slow rocks and build up to the full 30 degree range as confidence grows. Siblings take turns and time each other, which turns a solo exercise into a game. The concave-convex footprint pattern adds friction under the feet so children do not slip, and the PE plastic is sturdy and durable. Playing together also builds the parent-child bond.
