Why a swivel matters
A spinner hung on a plain hook winds its own cord tighter with every gust until it stalls. Put a swivel between the hook and the spinner and the cord stays straight while the spinner turns. You get the same benefit on bird feeders that sway in the wind, on solar lanterns and on flags that wrap around their line. Kite flyers clip one between the line and a spinning tail so the tail rotates on its own.
Where you can use them
Clip one end to a shepherd's hook, eave hook or branch and the other end to the spinner. Hanging flower pots and plant baskets work too, as long as the filled pot stays under the 6 pound rating. Because the steel resists weather, you can leave the clips outside through rain and sun. Check the clip gates once a season and squeeze them closed if a gate has opened from repeated swinging.

- Returns are only available for US orders. International orders are final sale.

- Jewelry and watches are not returnable.
