How you fly with it
Clip the swivel to the kite bridle, unlock the handle and let the wind pull line out as the kite climbs. When you reach the height you want, flip the lock and the reel stops paying out. To bring the kite down, turn the crank and the line winds back on without you having to loop it by hand around a stick.
The small handle does two jobs. It works as a crank for winding, and its anti-fallback catch stops the reel from spinning backward when you let go. Its smooth surface has no burrs, so it is safe on hands.
