This Canopy Street set gives you a first day of school sign and a last day of school sign, both reusable dry erase boards for the photos you take every September and June. Parents with one child or several get two 10 x 12 inch signs that wipe clean and work again next year.
Design and layout
The notebook design is easy to fill in. Write the date, your child's name, grade, age and height. Add the teacher, the school and a favorite subject, and leave room for the answer to the big one: what they want to be when they grow up. Each sign has rounded corners and a rectangular shape that a kindergartner can hold in front of a backpack.
The first day sign starts the year, and the last day sign closes it out. Put the two photos side by side and you see how much changed in nine months. Other designs in the listing include an apple set, an icon art set and a school bus set, so each child in the family can have a different look.

Writing on it and wiping it clean
Use a standard dry erase marker, since the set does not include markers. Write the night before, let the ink set, and the sign is ready when the bus pulls up. After the photo, wipe the board with a dry cloth or a sponge and store it flat with your school papers. Next fall, the same sign gets a new grade and a new height, and a younger sibling can use it too.

- Returns are only available for US orders. International orders are final sale.
