Details
The Odoorgames number matching toy helps toddlers learn numbers 1 to 20 by pairing ice pop pieces. Each popsicle stick carries a number that kids match to its number word and a picture. The game builds counting and word recognition at home or in daycare.
What's in the box
- Popsicle pieces numbered 1-20 with matching number words and graphics
- Reusable storage container
How kids learn with it
Your child picks up a number stick and hunts for the popsicle that shows the same number as a word or as a group of pictures. Matching a number to a group of pictures links the digit to a real count, and matching it to a word adds reading practice. Kids also work on fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as they grip each ice pop.
The popsicles come in 7 bright colors and measure 2.5 inches, a shape that catches a toddler's eye. You can start with a few numbers and add more as your child gets the hang of it. When playtime ends, drop the pieces back into the container for the next session.
