The Orbrium double span arch bridge adds almost 5 feet of elevated track to a wooden railway. It joins two arch bridges with a straight piece and two ascending ramps, so trains climb up, cross high above the floor and roll back down. It works with Thomas, Brio, Chuggington, Melissa and Doug and Imaginarium track.

How you build it
Start with an ascending ramp on each end. Set the two arch bridges in the middle and link them with the 14-inch straight. Trains now run up one ramp, across both arches and down the other side. The finished span stretches close to 5 feet, long enough to cross a whole corner of the playroom.
You are not locked into one shape. Split the pieces and build two shorter bridges, or use the arches alone over a river made from a blue towel. Each new layout gives kids a fresh puzzle to solve as they connect track ends.
The bridge works with most major wooden train brands, so it slots into the set you already own. If you want to go even longer, Orbrium sells signal bridges separately that connect to this span.
