A wooden Pinocchio puppet on strings is a toy that teaches patience in the best way. How he looks and moves
The body is wood, and the clothing and facial features are detailed enough that every kid recognizes him from the story.
Walking him takes practice. Rock the control and his feet step. Dip one side and he leans to bow. Lift and he hops. A child who sticks with it for a few sessions can make him dance to music, and the small victories along the way are what keep kids at it. Siblings often take turns, one working the strings while the other narrates the story. The puppet also looks good on a shelf between shows, ready for the next performance. Kids 5 and up can handle the control with a little practice, and the rewards come fast once the first steps work.

Tangles and storage
Strings knot when a marionette gets dropped into a toy box, so hang him by the control from a hook or a peg. When tangles happen, lay him flat, hold the control up, and work the strings apart from the control downward. Wipe the wood and the clothing with a dry cloth, and keep him away from water. For a first show, let the child practice one move at a time in front of a mirror before adding a story. Retell the Pinocchio story with him in the lead role and the whole family has an evening show.

- Returns are only available for US orders. International orders are final sale.

- Jewelry and watches are not returnable.
