Details
Popular Playthings Micro Mix or Match Vehicles Deluxe 1 lets kids build 9 vehicles from 27 magnetic pieces and then swap the parts around. Snap together an airplane, a fire truck or a dragster, then mix the pieces into dozens of new rides. The set suits children ages 3 and up.
What's in the box
- 27 magnetic vehicle pieces
- Builds 9 vehicles
- Mesh bag for cleanup
How kids build with the mix or match vehicles
Each vehicle splits into three parts, and the interlocking magnets snap them together. Your child starts by building the vehicles as shown, then takes them apart and starts mixing. A truck cab can sit on a race car base. A plane can grow a fire ladder, and a dragster can pick up wings for a flying race car. Every new combination becomes a character with its own name and job.
The pieces work like a 3D puzzle for small hands. Kids practice matching shapes, building in order and planning a design before they snap it together. Large parts are sized for little fingers to grip, and kids can drive their creations across a tabletop city. Siblings can build a fleet together or race their wildest inventions down a ramp made from a book.
Cleanup stays simple. Drop all 27 pieces into the mesh bag and toss it into a toy bin. The bag also travels well to a restaurant, a grandparent's house or a long car ride. The vehicles can be built and taken apart again and again, which keeps the toy fresh long after the first day.
