Why a fabric kite works for kids
Most kites fail at the frame. A rod cracks in the car, a connector goes missing in the sand, and the afternoon is over. The Pocket Flyer has no frame at all. Wind alone inflates the fabric into a wing, so you pull it from your pocket, clip on the line and throw it up. There is nothing to assemble and nothing a child can lose. When the wind turns gusty, the forked tail drags just enough to stop the kite from spinning out.
A single line means the flying is simple. Let out line to climb, reel in to pull the kite closer, and hand the winder to a child without worrying about tangled control lines. The hoop winder fits small fingers and holds all 200 feet.
Flying and care
Stand with your back to the wind, hold the kite up at arm's length and let go as a gust arrives. Walk backward a few steps if it needs help. Fly it in open space away from trees and power lines. After a beach session, rinse the fabric in fresh water to clear sand and salt, let it dry, then fold it back up. Wind the line evenly on the hoop so it pays out cleanly next time. Kept in a glove box or a backpack, the kite is ready whenever the flag at the park starts to move.

You have 14 days from delivery to request a return or exchange for most products shipped within the United States.* Exclusions apply.

- Custom and handmade items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, as they are crafted specifically to order.
- Returns are only available for US orders. International orders are final sale.
- For health and safety reasons, personal care items (like baby creams, shampoos, balms, sunscreens, and lotions) and food products cannot be returned once opened.
- Jewelry and watches are not returnable.
Restocking fee: a 10% restocking fee is deducted from your refund on change-of-mind returns. There is no fee if the item is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered.
