The PROND swing swivel is a compact rotational device that lets a tree swing, web swing or hammock spin a full 360 degrees without twisting the rope. Families building a backyard swing and climbers or aerial dancers rigging a line get a 7075 aluminum swivel tested to a 35kN breaking strength.

Why add a swing swivel
Hang a swing straight from a branch and every spin winds the rope tighter until it kinks. A swivel between the anchor and the swing lets the seat turn freely while the rope stays straight. Sealed ball bearings make the rotation smooth and silent, so the swing spins without grinding.
PROND makes the body from high strength 7075 aluminum magnesium alloy and anodizes it. The swivel passed a 35kN (7,875 lbs) breaking strength test, and PROND recommends a working load limit of 2,000 lbs. The wide eyes take up to three carabiners, so you can connect a saucer swing with several ropes.
Uses go beyond a backyard tree. The same swivel fits tire swings, disc swings, chair swings, hammocks, aerial silks and rock climbing rigs, with static or dynamic rope.
Setting it up
Attach the top eye to your anchor point with a rated carabiner and clip the swing's lines to the bottom eye. Check that each carabiner gate locks. Give the swing a test spin with no rider, then a bounce with an adult's weight. Inspect the swivel, the carabiners and the ropes every season for wear.
