The Radiolink RC controller phone holder mounts a phone or FPV monitor on top of an RC4GS or RC6GS transmitter so you can watch the camera feed without looking away from the car. It threads into the controller's mounting hole, folds for transport and weighs 3.7 oz. Any radio with a 1/4 inch (M6) thread hole can use it.

Why mount the screen
Running an FPV camera on a crawler or a bashing truck means splitting attention between the vehicle and a screen. With the monitor clamped above the sticks, both sit in one line of sight. Tilt the ball head until the glare is gone. Phone users running a telemetry or camera app get the same benefit.
The clamp stretches from 5.5 to 9 cm, so it holds a phone with up to a 6.8 inch screen or an FPV monitor up to 4.3 inches. Owners of other brands can use it as long as the transmitter has a standard 1/4 inch thread hole.
Fitting it
Turn the mount into the controller's thread hole until snug, open the clamp, seat your phone or screen and tighten. The ball joint then lets you angle the display in any direction. Fold the arm flat when you pack the radio in a case. Because the RC controller phone holder is plastic and light, it adds almost nothing to the weight on your wrists during a long session.
