The Swurfer swing set conversion bracket lets you hang a Swurfer from a wooden swing set when you have no suitable tree. An 18 inch adjustable iron bar mounts to the beam with the included hardware, and two nylon bushing hangers hold the ropes. Families with a backyard swing set get a sturdy mounting point for kids ages 12 and up.

Installing the bracket
Choose the beam on your swing set where the Swurfer will hang, and confirm it is solid wood no larger than 4x6. Hold the bracket in place, mark the pre-drilled holes and mount it with the supplied hardware, following the step by step directions. Then hang the ropes from the two nylon bushing hangers.
The bar adjusts, so you can set the spacing for your swing. Swurfer paints the iron to resist water and rust, which matters for a part that stays outside all year. The company rates the bracket at 6,000 pounds, far above the load of a rider on a swing. Most swing sets have a beam that takes this bracket, since Swurfer designs it to work with all swing set brands. You skip building a new frame and keep the play set you already own.
