How the two modes work
In learning mode your child moves the hands, and Telly Jr. teaches the time in five-minute increments while the LCD screen updates to match. Quiz mode flips the task: the screen shows a time, and Telly Jr. asks your child to move the hands to match it.
Listening, looking and moving the hands at the same time pulls in several skills at once. A preschooler practices motor control turning the hands, connects the clock face to the screen, and gets a quick win with each correct answer, which builds the confidence to try the next one. Telly Jr. is a newer version of the award winning Telly teaching time clock, and The Learning Journey designs it to support listening, visual, tactile and motor skills.
Using it at home
Keep the teaching time clock on the kitchen table and ask your child to set it to bedtime or snack time. Compare it to the wall clock while you wait for dinner. The Learning Journey tests its products on a regular schedule against domestic and international toy safety rules. When the batteries run down, swap in three fresh AA batteries. Wipe the clock face with a dry cloth, and keep the teaching time clock out of the bath, since it runs on batteries and has an LCD screen.

- Returns are only available for US orders. International orders are final sale.

- Jewelry and watches are not returnable.
