How you play
Unroll the mat on the lawn and push the ground stakes in at the edges to keep it flat. Players take turns chipping a ball toward the mat. A ball that sticks in the center goal earns the most points, while the sand traps and water hazards cost you points. Write each score on the card and play as many rounds as you like.
The mat also hangs on a wall, which turns it into a toss game. Kids who are too young to swing a club can throw the sticky balls at the target. That gives you two games in one set.
TOY Life makes the mat from durable, woven fabric that you can wash. The balls are firm enough to chip, yet soft enough that they will not damage walls or indoor fixtures. That makes the game a good pick for a rainy day inside. When you finish, roll the mat up, gather the balls and stakes and pack everything into the storage bag. Kids can unroll it on their own for the next game.
