In open areas, VOOPON rates the range at up to 3 kilometers. Among city buildings, expect 0.5 to 1.5 kilometers. Load 3 AAA batteries before the first use. Kids can lock the screen to keep the channel from changing mid-game, and the radios make a gift for birthdays, Christmas or Thanksgiving.
