Work through the grid with the large tiles for answers and the small thinking tiles for the candidates you have not ruled out. When a guess goes wrong, lift the tile and try again, which beats erasing holes in a newspaper. Any puzzle from any book or app fits, since the board is the standard nine by nine grid.
