How tracing builds writing skills
Young children start by tracing the letter shape with a fingertip, which teaches the shape of the letter and the direction of each stroke. As they gain control, they switch to the stylus and build the hand and finger strength a pencil grip needs. Repeating the path trains the muscles while the eyes store the shape, so the letter comes out right on paper later. Because the tiles are tactile, multisensory tools, the learning happens through the hands as well as the eyes.
Use and care
Set out a few tiles at a time, starting with the letters in your child's name. Say the sound as they trace and have them repeat it. Older preschoolers can trace a tile, then write the same letter on a chalkboard. - Returns are only available for US orders. International orders are final sale.

- Jewelry and watches are not returnable.
