What new fingerboard trucks and wheels change
A single metal bearing sits inside each wheel and carries the load as you push. That bearing helps the board ride smoothly and efficiently across a desk or a mini ramp. The wheel surface is smooth, and it holds up to the weight of a fingerboard through daily sessions of ollies and grinds.
The 2 trucks in this set are alloy. When an old truck bends, the board pulls to one side and tricks land crooked. Fresh trucks put the deck back on a level track. The set also works as a spare kit, so you can keep a second board running or help a friend whose wheels went missing.
How to swap the hardware
Check your deck width before you start, since the trucks match decks about 34 mm wide that use single bearing wheels. Use one screwdriver to back out the old truck screws and lift the truck off. Line up the new alloy truck with the holes, drive the screws in snug. Spin each wheel with a finger to check that it turns freely. Store the second screwdriver in your fingerboard case for quick fixes at a skate session.
