How a cooling fan helps
The fan moves air across the water surface and raises surface evaporation, which brings the temperature down. You can aim the airflow by tilting the head. Lights and filtration systems add heat to a tank, and a fan helps carry some of it away.
Fish, shrimp, axolotls and aquatic plants are the tank residents it is meant to protect from overheating. It runs at low noise levels at each speed.
Picking a size and installing it
Choose the single-fan model for a tank up to 10 gallons. For a larger tank, pick a two, three or four fan version. The clamp fits open aquariums with a rim thinner than 1/2 inch, so measure your rim before you order. Clamp it on, set the angle, then choose a speed.

- Returns are only available for US orders. International orders are final sale.
