Why not sit down and match wits with your friends and family with this classy Amish-made Chess/Checker board. It is beautifully hand-crafted by Amish craftsmen in Shipshewana, Indiana. You will be pleased with the workmanship and beauty of this piece. The precise and detailed work by the Amish Craftsmen is simply incredible! It is made with Hard Maple and Black Walnut wood squares then carefully sanded and finished with a special polyurethane to seal, protect, and enhance the natural wood. It features a handy drawer to store the included Chess and Checkers pieces. Choose between the 13" wide board or the 18" wide board. The wooden checker pieces that are included (with both boards) measure 1 1/4" in diameter. The king height of the wooden chess pieces included with the 18" board is 3 1/8" and the king height of the chess pieces with the 13" board is 3".
