The cat door
Slide the 7.5 inch cat door to the height your cat needs. It stays where you put it, so pets cannot paw it open. Leave just enough room for your cat so your dog stays out, or slide it all the way down to close it.
Mounting and use
For a no-drill install, use the 4 tension rods, wall cups and adhesive pads. Or fix the gate with the included screws and wall anchors. Pressure mounting is not suitable at the top of stairs. Measure the narrowest point of the doorway before you order.
You open the door with one hand. The door swings in both directions and shuts by itself if you open it less than 90 degrees. Push it beyond 90 degrees and it stays open, which helps when your arms are full of laundry. Dual locks hold it shut.
