Details
AUGSUN fall scratch art bookmarks give kids a Thanksgiving craft that ends as a keepsake. Each card has a black matte coating over hidden rainbow colors, and kids scratch out pumpkins, leaves and turkeys. The 96-piece kit covers a full classroom or party table.
What's in the box
- 96 fall scratch bookmarks, 6 x 2 inches (15 x 5 cm)
- 96 colored satin ropes
- 20 bamboo scratch sticks
How kids make them
Hand each child a bookmark and a bamboo stick. They scrape away the black coating with the stick to show the rainbow layer below.
Once the design is done, kids thread a colored rope through the hole at the top. Each bookmark can then go in a book or hang on a bag, key ring, window or tree.
Themes include pumpkins, maple leaves, turkeys, acorns, sunflowers and scarecrows. Scratching out the designs helps with eye-hand coordination and color recognition. Teachers can set up the kit as a fall party activity, a classroom reward or a goodie bag filler.
