Sealing and energy use
Two magnetic flaps reset quickly after your dog lifts them and close tightly. Two sliding panels help hold the indoor temperature and reduce energy costs, and they also close the opening when you want unwanted visitors kept out.
Installation
The expanding tunnel adjusts to your door thickness. The kit has a cutting template, a step-by-step guide and hardware such as self-tapping screws and rivets. On a hollow door, use a rivet tool to secure the frame further. Measure your door thickness first, since the tunnel expands to cover 1 3/8 to 2 1/8 inches. The flap opening of 11 1/8 by 16 1/4 inches suits a large dog.
