How the filter works
A vertical filtration system sends water through several layers. Activated carbon takes in foul odors, and ion exchange resin removes heavy metal ions and softens the water. Non-woven fabric catches cat hair and other impurities.
Soak a new filter in water for 5 minutes and rinse it for 30 seconds before use. Replace the filter every 2 weeks, and clean the pump and the fountain at least once a week to keep the filtering working well.
