Sukh coco coir hamster bedding arrives as a coconut fiber block that you soak and break apart. Once it expands, it gives a burrowing pet a soft layer to dig in. It also works in running wheels and activity areas.

What the bedding does
Coco coir has a soft texture that is gentle on a hamster's fur and claws. The loose fibers let your hamster dig the way it would in a natural habitat. The bedding absorbs urine and moisture, which cuts down on odor buildup, and in a cold room it helps hold a steady temperature in the living area.
How to use coco coir bedding
Pour 30-50 ml of water over a block and wait 10-20 minutes while it swells. Break it up, then spread it evenly across the bottom of the cage. You can mix it with other bedding if you like. Watch your hamster closely the first time you use it, and swap out the bedding right away if a strong smell develops.
